Accommodation / Corrigans Cove Apartments Batemans Bay - Snapper Island

Snapper Island Batemans Bay

In addition to the pool you will find immediately opposite Corrigans Cove a calm bay appropriately called Corrigans Beach. It makes for a great swimming spot, especially if you’re not keen on big waves. Swimming, sandcastle building or strolling along the beach – whatever your leisure you’re within a 1 minute walk of it all.

Snapper Island sits just off-shore from Corrigans Beach and is a popular diving and kayaking spot. The waters around Snapper Island feature a shallow reef which is home to many different types of marine and bird life. You can see Snapper Island from the verandah where your complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning.

When you are not spending time taking in the views of Snapper Island or enjoying Corrigans Beach, you may want to take advantage of the facilities of Corrigans Cove and nearby activities. The property has a solar heated pool, landscaped gardens, and is close to shops, a park, golf course and local attractions.

If you are seeking bigger waves Corrigans Cove is only minutes drive from the nearest seasonally patrolled beach at Surf Beach. Further south at Broulee you will discover arguably this region’s best surfing breaks.

There are also other Islands in the Eurobodalla region including Montague Island Nature Reserve which sits just off-shore from Narooma (about an hour’s drive south of Batemans Bay). This seal colony and lighthouse is a must-see experience of the region and has won two consecutive National Tourism Awards in the category of ecotourism.
