Getting to Batemans Bay

Getting to Batemans Bay is easy! Corrigans Cove is centrally located on the South Coast of New South Wales Australia just a couple of kilometres south of the centre of Batemans Bay on Beach Road in Batehaven.

From Canberra ACT Australia – 149 kilometres
Batemans Bay is 2 hours drive from Canberra via the Kings Highway. Drive through Queanbeyan and follow the Kings Highway. You’ll pass through the villages of Bungendore and Braidwood before crossing over the Clyde Mountain. Turn right at the roundabout upon entering Batemans Bay and cross the bridge. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights (near McDonalds and the Visitor Information Centre) and follow Beach Road for about 3 kilometres to Corrigans Cove. It’s on the right past Catalina Golf Club and Birdland Animal Park.

From Sydney NSW Australia – 282 kilometres
Batemans Bay is approximately 4 hours drive south of Sydney via the Princes Highway. When you first come into Batemans Bay you will cross over the bridge, turn left at the second set of traffic lights (near McDonalds and the Visitor Information Centre) and proceed along Beach Road to Corrigans Cove.

From Melbourne VIC Australia – 764 kilometres
Batemans Bay is approximately 9 hours drive north from Melbourne via the Princes Highway. Take the scenic route along the Princes Highway (Hwy 1) through the South East Coast of Victoria and into New South Wales. When you arrive in Batemans Bay, turn right at the traffic lights immediately past McDonald’s onto Beach Road. If you find yourself traveling over the Batemans Bay Bridge, you’ve gone too far north! Once on Beach Road follow it for about 3 kilometres, Corrigans Cove is on the right side.

An alternative route is to take the Hume Highway via Albury and Canberra.

Moruya Airport
The nearest airport is located at Moruya about 30 minutes south of Batemans Bay. Regional Express offers regular flights from Sydney and from Melbourne (via Merimbula).
